From a young age, Shauntel understood the transformative power of education. From her time at MIT studying chemical engineering to completing her MBA and MA in Education at Stanford, she’s navigated life with a curious mind and an insatiable appetite for knowledge. Shauntel set out to instill this same love for learning in others through volunteer tutoring and mentoring programs, but soon realized a career in education was her true calling. Given her interest in the intersection of education and technology, she went on to co-found Reach Capital and enjoys supporting founders as they build solutions that foster meaningful learning experiences.

Why Education?

Education paved the way to a brighter future for my mother who is now a tenured professor. She taught me that education is vital to not only exploring my own intellectual curiosity and potential, but also an important lever for greater social mobility.
