We are thrilled to announce that Adina Safer has joined us as our newest healthcare advisor. Adina brings over two decades of rich experience as a seasoned healthcare strategist. Her diverse background includes roles in consulting and investment banking, and she demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit by founding an early internet health company later acquired by CVS. While at CVS, she spent close to a decade helping to build and scale the specialty pharmacy for CVS Health, making it a market leader in reimbursement and distribution services.
In recent years, Adina has focused on ecosystem development in the startup world and has worked with over a dozen startup companies in the digital health space in the last two years alone. She is a proud member of the Board of the San Francisco Health Plan, the MediCal plan for SF. This position has afforded her invaluable insights into the complexities of Medicaid, reinforcing her dedication to enhancing healthcare outcomes, particularly in underserved areas. Additionally, Adina serves as the Health Tech Creator and Producer at The Medicaid Sessions, which connects emerging health tech leaders with medicaid experts.
When asked why she decided to work with us, she said:
“Reach’s commitment to developing market-leading solutions for health access and affordability is what impressed me the most. Their focus on effective and accessible care, increasing the healthcare workforce, and empowering clinicians, is truly inspiring, and I’m excited to join their Health Advisory Group to support this important work.”
We couldn’t be more excited to add Adina to Reach’s early and growing advisory board, which already consists of Rob Purinton and Julia Bernstein. If you are a healthcare leader who is interested in joining as an advisor, don’t hesitate to reach out to jomayra@reachcapital.com.
