A Bright Welcome to Our Newest Healthcare Advisor, Julia Bernstein

Our healthcare team is growing! This week we are thrilled to announce that Julia Bernstein, COO at Brightside Health, has joined Reach as a healthcare advisor.

Brightside Health delivers virtual mental health care to people with mild to severe clinical depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Julia’s expertise will be invaluable as we deepen our focus on health and well-being, both important pillars of our renewed thesis.

As COO of Brightside Health, Julia leads strategy and operations, scaling the company’s reach as they expand their membership and enter new markets. She brings extensive experience in behavioral and digital health, with a background in payer sales, startup operations and growth, and nonprofit strategy. Julia is also an active angel investor and advisor to early-stage companies.

We are excited and honored to have Julia’s domain expertise and operational experience across the healthcare ecosystem on our team. Her current work in mental health is particularly relevant, as we’ve proudly supported companies like Rhithm (acquired by Securly), Clayful, and Cartwheel, each addressing critical gaps in school-based health services. Mental health is foundational to academic success and lifelong well-being, and an important focus area at Reach.
