We are thrilled to announce that Rob Purinton, AdventHealth’s Chief AI Officer, has joined Reach as a healthcare advisor. AdventHealth is the 12th largest health system in the U.S., operating 54 hospitals across the country. As Chief AI officer, Purinton oversees its enterprise-wide AI strategy and collaborates with industry stakeholders to deliver preeminent faith-based care, with connected systems and exceptional outcomes.
In our renewed thesis, we emphasized our commitment to supporting tools and services that make health care more accessible and effective. As we evolve our scope, it is critical to identify and work with sector experts to help us stay close to the challenges confronting healthcare providers and people, and find opportunities for impactful solutions.
Similar to how we have brought on K-12, higher ed, and future of work advisors, we are excited to launch our healthcare advisory group. Rob will work with Reach to help understand market trends, evaluate the effectiveness of new solutions, and support our healthcare portfolio companies. When asked why he chose to join us, Rob shared:
“I’ve been impressed by the focus of Reach on reducing barriers to learning, care, and economic mobility, while relying on experts who understand the evidence and science behind helping individuals and communities thrive. What’s even more exciting is helping these innovators take their ideas to 10x, 100x, or 1000x with the team at Reach. Giving a helping hand to this impact is a dream come true for any servant leader.”
We are excited to work closely with Rob as we continue to expand our work into healthcare! If you are a healthcare leader who is interested in joining as an advisor, don’t hesitate to reach out to jomayra@reachcapital.com. And if you are a founder building solutions to help increase the access and quality of healthcare, please reach out as well.
